This policy explains how DJob processes your personal data under the EU GDPR (Regulation 2016/679) and, for UK users, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Data Controller

2. Data we process
- Identification data (name, email, country).
- DJ data (stage name, bio, photos, Stripe Connect account, ID document, tax data).
- Booking, payment and messaging data between Client and DJ.
- Technical data (IP, browser, cookies — see Cookie Policy).
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): account, booking and payment management.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): DAC7 reporting, tax, fraud prevention.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): marketing and non-essential cookies (withdrawable any time).
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): platform security and service improvement.
4. Recipients
Stripe Payments Europe (payment processing and Connect payouts), transactional-email providers (Resend), EU hosting provider, tax authorities where applicable (DAC7). We never sell your data.
5. International transfers
Data is hosted in the EU. Where a processor operates outside the EEA, transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where relevant, the EU-UK adequacy decision.
6. Retention
- User account: while active + 12 months.
- Billing & bookings: 10 years (accounting law).
- Consents: 5 years after withdrawal.
7. Your rights
You have the rights of Access, Rectification, Erasure, Restriction, Portability, Objection and to withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@djob.club. You may lodge a complaint with the ICO (UK), AEPD (Spain), Garante (Italy), CNIL (France) or BfDI (Germany).
